Michael Adrian Davis

Michael Adrian Davis, known as “a man on a mission,” is a highly respected radio veteran with a career spanning over 30 years. His talent led to the success of two major flagship radio stations: Sheridan Broadcasting’s “The Light” Gospel Network and iHeart Media’s Hallelujah Brand stations. He has been recognized with numerous awards throughout his career, including being named Outstanding Radio Personality for five consecutive years.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Davis, a graduate of Northside High School class of 1982, received his BA in Criminal Justice with a minor in Communications from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). To fulfill his passion to make a positive impact on his community, The Michael Adrian Davis Foundation (TMADF), a 501(c)(3) organization, was created. The foundation’s mission is to provide access to secure a self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle.

Despite facing personal tragedy, including the passing of his wife of 18 years, Vera Annette Davis, to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2007, Davis remained resilient and dedicated to the rearing of his three children: Michael, Jr., Kristen, and Bryson. His commitment to his family is evident in his work.

Currently, Davis can be heard weekday mornings from 6am to 10am hosting The Michael Adrian Davis Morning Show featuring Cameron Kuykendall on WQOX 88.5 FM. This polymath’s infectious energy and unwavering dedication has made him a highly sought after master of ceremony, motivational speaker, media influencer, voice over talent and comedian.

Commencing January 2024,  Michael is embarking upon two milestones, 30 years of broadcasting and 60 years of life. He is committed to utilizing the energy surrounding these major life events to advocate for greater community wisdom, wellness, and wealth with the launch of MAD30/60, a yearlong, citywide campaign honoring this hero.
